Perform. Subvert. Transform.
The Autumn/Winter 2019 edition of the Sluice magazine uses mycorrhiza - the symbiotic relationship between plants and fungi - as a framework to explore the ecosystems and survival strategies within creative organisational spheres.
The magazine thematically speaks to the precarity and balance of sustaining non- institutional models through underground networks. By corresponding alternative organisational models with evolutionary processes from the natural world we can draw parallels between ecology and politics, the many as one, the wood-wide-web, deep time and systems of decomposition and recycling.
