Unlearning

In this edition of Sluice magazine, we're not aiming to catalogue every alternative art school. Instead, we offer a glimpse into self-organising models that explore concepts of deschooling and unlearning, examining how these ideas interact with the implementation of structural frameworks, and what matters in defining autonomy.

The Autumn/Winter 2024 edition of Sluice magazine looks at artist-led education from various angles to map what learning looks like when freed from the institution.
